It is with much excitement that we announce that the IEB has repackaged all the Advanced Programmes into Further Studies programmes.

The IEB has established a division called the International Secondary Certificate (IEB-ISC). In the ISC, the Further Studies programmes are benchmarked by UK ENIC and are comparable to the overall GCE Advanced (A) level standard.

The Stellenbosch University Unit for International Credentialing (SU-UIC) is responsible for the external quality assurance of the ISC which includes the Further Studies subjects. These subjects will continue to be available for South-African learners as extension programmes, in the same way as Advanced Programmes are currently offered.
